  The ICI Education Foundation (ICIEF) encourages all Americans to participate in Financial Literacy Month. Congress has been designating April “Financial Literacy Month” since 2003.
• ICI and ICIEF Encourage Participation in “America Saves Week”
  The Investment Company Institute (ICI) is encouraging Americans to assess their personal savings and set a savings goal as part of the “America Saves Week” national campaign. ICI joins numerous corporate, nonprofit, and government organizations nationwide in participating in the annual campaign, which takes place this year February 25–March 2.

  The Investment Company Institute Education Foundation (ICIEF) announced today that five Washington, DC high school students and three high schools earned financial awards as part of a new program designed to encourage local participation in a national financial education program.
• Maryland Public Television Receives ICI Education Foundation Grant
  The Investment Company Institute Education Foundation (ICIEF) announced today that Maryland Public Television (MPT) is receiving a $25,000 grant that will underwrite a series of online, broadcast-quality investor education videos for MPT's existing financial education initiative, Get in Charge.

  The Investment Company Institute Education Foundation (ICIEF) today announced it is again sponsoring an annual awards program designed to encourage Washington, DC high school students to participate in a national financial education program.
• Maryland State Education Department Receives ICI Education Foundation Grant
  The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) has received $25,000 from the Investment Company Institute Education Foundation (ICIEF) grant program designed to advance investment education within the greater metropolitan Washington, DC area. The grant will underwrite teacher training in investment education for middle- and high-school educators in the Calvert, Charles, Frederick, and Prince George's County, Maryland school systems.
• ICIEF Unveils New Technology in Finance Park Storefront
  The Investment Company Institute Education Foundation (ICIEF) introduced new motion-capture technology in its "Finance Park" storefront today. The technology allows students to select and explore money management topics by using their shadows to move a selector box across projected images on the storefront wall.
